He is a master manipulator. No different than any other cult leader. But, if you don’t mind being one of the sheep I guess he’s the guy for you.  He wasn’t a cult leader. The term cult was erroneously laid on him as was 75% of the BS people associate with him. He was the head of a gang of derelicts, vagrants, criminals, run aways, drug dealers, and con men. He’s a criminal, no doubt about it and not one to be put in a positive light. But he’s also 10% of what people put onto him. He was Charles Watson’s scapegoat for the 8 murders Watson committed and blamed on Manson and the girls.
